THE INDIANA VISION EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED

Update: JoAnne Fields passed away on Wednesday afternoon, June 11, 2008. Earlier in the week, due to her condition, the decision was made to postpone the Indiana Vision event planned for this coming Saturday, June 14th.

Debi Fields Alexander sent an update to friends and family which included this paragraph:

“Many of you have asked about the InterVarsity event this weekend, part of which was meant to honor Mom and Dad’s many years of ministry with InterVarsity. That event has now been postponed due to Mom’s declining health and Dad’s need to be with her. That event has been meant to be a time of celebration and joy, as as we read in Ecclesiastes, ‘there’s a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance…’ This time, at least for our family, is a time for grieving, and celebration would be forced and insincere for us right now.”

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please do pray for Don and the entire family during these difficult days.
