Too often believers waffle between one of two extremes: either we charge out to solve the world's problems in own strength and eventually burn out, or we fervently pray for God to do something about all those troubles “out there” while we enjoy another latte on the couch.In their new book, Becoming the Answer to Our Prayers, activists Shane Claiborne and Jonathan Wilson-Hartgrove show us that prayer and action are inextricably tied—-you can’t have one without the other.
