| November 1-7 |
Thank God for:
- Establishing new chapters at the University of Hawaii in
Manoa, an international fellowship and Polynesian fellowship.
Please pray for:
- Esther Lee, intern at the University of Maryland in College
Park, to seek God's guidance and peace as she balances
campus work, graduate school, job, and family this year.
- Students as they gather to study God's Word, worship, fellowship, and have fun during Northern Pennsylvania's Fall Impact conference, November 6-7. Pray that they return to their campuses with a vision for witnessing to their non-Christian friends.
- African American student leaders to open their hearts and life plans to God as they attend Vision 09, the Great Lakes West's regional conference, November 6-8, in Oak Brook, IL. Also pray for participants to consider their leadership on campus as they discuss and learn about biblical leadership.
- One hundred and fifty students from the University of Illinois at Urbana—Champaign, as they gather for Deep, November 6-8, to learn about their relationships with God and their mission on campus. Pray that many non-Christians accept the grace and truth of Christ into their lives.
- Over 700 students as they study Scripture, worship, and attend training tracks, November 6-8, during Wisconsin/Upper Michigan's fall conference, Cross Training 2009. Please pray that as students deepen their relationships with Christ they will be enabled to share God's love with non-Christians back on campus.
- Students as they prepare to share the Gospel during missions week at the University of Illinois—Chicago, November 9-12.

| November 8-14 |
Please pray for:
- Over 100 African American students as they return to campuses,
November 8, following the Vision conference. Pray that these students will step into leadership roles within their InterVarsity communities.
- Staff in the New York/New Jersey region to experience favor with donors and trust in God's provision as they endeavor to fulfill their fund development goal of over $200,000, November 8-15.
- Staff members in the Central Texas area to be encouraged as they ask for financial partnership during an evening of celebration and fund development on November 12.
- Members of the six undergraduate fellowships at the University of Texas—Austin, to pursue God's vision and experience unity as they gather, November 13, to prepare for a large-scale campus outreach in the spring.
- Students attending Encuentro 09, the Great Lakes West regional Latino student conference, November 13-15, in Dekalb, IL. Pray that participants are encouraged to explore their culture, faith, and leadership on campus.
- Students to openly share the Gospel at Michigan State University—East Lansing, after attending Compelling 09, a training conference, November 13-15.
- Faculty and students as they give witness to their faith in Jesus Christ with their classmates and colleagues at Fairmont State University in West Virginia, and work to plant an InterVarsity chapter on campus.

| November 15-21 |
Thank God for:
- Twenty conversions at universities throughout Iowa during
the first few months of the academic year.
Please pray for:
- Eighty students at the University of Kansas—Lawrence,
as they witness to international students while helping
them practice their English.
- Core leaders of the InterVarsity chapter at York College in Pennsylvania, as they endeavor to help the campus witnessing community grow.
- Students who have transferred to the University of California—San Diego, as they connect with Christian students on campus and get involved in InterVarsity Bible studies.
- Participants in the Pacific region's annual Cultivate Leadership Conference as they gather, November 19-22, for leadership development and training.
- Staff teams from the New England region, New York/New Jersey region, and Mid-Atlantic region to seek God's guidance as they consider serving in area director roles November 16-18.
- Julianna Iran, Chris Light, Taiei Harimoto, Paul Starbuck, and Adrian Lock to trust God's provision as they raise financial support to serve students on campuses in California.

Thank God for:
- A successful launch of the new InterVarsity chapter at California State University—Long Beach. Dozens of new students have begun attending Bible studies, hosting prayer meetings, engaging non-Christians in evangelistic discussions, and gathering as a community of believers on campus.
- Five students at the University of Nevada—Las Vegas, who accepted Christ into their lives.
Please pray for:
- The right candidate to join InterVarsity's staff team in Kansas, who will help invite students to replant an InterVarsity chapter at Kansas State University—
Manhattan.
- Sherami Hinders and Tony Gatewood, staff at the University of Iowa—Iowa City, as they meet students and replant an InterVarsity chapter on campus.
- Darnell Dibbles and Lacey Rodriguez–Dibbles, campus staff members at the University of Texas—Dallas, as they develop new financial partnerships.
- Potential staff members to respond to God's call and serve students on campuses in Arkansas, where InterVarsity currently has no undergraduate chapters.
- Camp directors as they ask for God's guidance in developing budget plans for next year.

| November 29 - December 5 |
Thank God for:
- Students who are eager to actively participate in the growing new InterVarsity chapter at Rutgers University—New Brunswick, Cook/Douglass campus.
Please pray for:
- Natalie Kohn as this semester she meets students and gathers a group of missional students to begin a new InterVarsity chapter at California's Pasadena City College.
- Amy Schoepf as she works to plant a new InterVarsity ministry among commuter students at Des Moines Area Community College in Iowa.
- Evan Pillsbury, Graduate & Faculty campus staff member, as he shares the Gospel of Christ with faculty at the University of Southern Maine in Portland, and seeks to establish a witnessing community.
- Growth of InterVarsity chapters on campuses in Ohio: Wright State University, Bowling Green State University, and Miami University. Also pray for InterVarsity students as they establish a witnessing community for Greek students at Miami University.
- Students at Columbia University and Baruch College in New York, to boldly proclaim the Gospel to classmates and invite them to InterVarsity Bible studies, chapter events, and a relationship with Jesus.
- Students across the nation as they prepare to study the Gospel of John during Urbana 09, InterVarsity's 22nd missions conference held December 27-31 in St. Louis, MO.

| December 6-12 |
Thank God for:
- Almost fifty percent of all women at the US Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, NY, attending A Band of Women, a Bible study within the newly-affiliated InterVarsity chapter on campus.
Please pray for:
- Matt Taylor as he works to establish a chapter at California State Polytechnic University—Pomona, and shares the Gospel of Christ within the campus community.
- Participants in the Mid-Atlantic region's new staff training, December 7-9, as they discuss developing missional Christians and leaders on campus.
- Non-Christian students who have been attending Bible studies and other InterVarsity events this semester to accept Jesus into their lives before
heading home for winter break.
- Students to share their faith in Christ and become missional Christians, inviting their peers into the InterVarsity witnessing community at West Virginia University in Morgantown.
- Ten non-Christian students as they discover the person of Jesus Christ in the Gospels through participation in a Thursday night Bible study at Albright College in Reading, PA.
- Sarah Larson, campus staff member, and the students of the Greek chapter plant at the University of Texas—Austin, as they continue to build relationships and start Bible studies in the fraternity and sorority community on campus.

Thank God for:
- Students who are missionally engaging their campuses
with the Gospel of Christ within the newly established
chapters at Cooper Union College in New York City, and
the New York Institute of Technology on Long Island.
- Freshmen students attending the weekly Bible study at the University of Texas—El Paso.
Please pray for:
- Maite Rodriguez–Caballero as she works to replant an
InterVarsity chapter at California State University—Los Angeles. Pray that a core group of missional Christian students begins to proclaim the Gospel on the campus in order to sustain a witnessing community.
- The InterVarsity leadership team at Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA, to experience unity as they reach out to new students on campus. Also pray that students would be inspired to welcome new members and witness about God's love personally with their friends
and acquaintances.
- New staff on campuses in Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN, to trust God's provision as they build prayer and financial partnerships to minister with students.
- Students on campuses throughout New York to experience God's grace as they boldly share the Gospel with their friends and invite them into the InterVarsity community.
- Students at Mercer County Community College in West Windsor, NJ, as they begin meeting to study Scripture worship, and pray together. Also pray for the group to develop close, caring relationships as they establish an InterVarsity chapter on campus.

Thank God for:
- The many students, faculty, missionaries, and others coming
from around the world to attend Urbana 09, InterVarsity's 22nd Student Missions Conference, December 27-31, in St. Louis, MO.
Please pray for:
- Students as they seek God's guidance and direction
about serving and sharing the Gospel through
InterVarsity's Global Projects during Urbana 09.
- Vince Miller, staff director in Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN, and his staff team to experience clarity as they pursue God's vision for ministry on area campuses.
- Graduate students and faculty at the University of Massachusetts—Amherst, the University of New Hampshire in Durham, the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Brown University in Providence, RI; Yale University in New Haven, CT; the University of Southern Maine in Portland, and the School for International Training in Brattleboro, VT.
- Bill DePury, staff director in the Deep South area, his wife Wendy and their children Aaron, Alyssa, and Aubrey, as they endeavor to reflect God's Kingdom to others. Also pray for time to relax and balanced schedules with both Wendy and Bill working.
- Staff in the New York area to trust in God's provision as they develop financial partnerships to support growth on area campuses.
- The thousands attending Urbana 09 to experience a fresh perspective about God's mission and for each person to realize her or his part in bringing the Good News of Jesus to people of every nation, ethnicity, and culture.
