January 1-9
Thank God for:
- Helen, a student at Rutgers University—Cook/Douglass campus in New Jersey, who accepted Christ into her life during a prayer track at a chapter weekend retreat last fall. Pray for Helen and others in her chapter to grow spiritually.
- Non-Christian faculty at the University of Tennessee—Knoxville who welcomed Christian philosopher Nicholas Wolterstorff. He spoke about justice during a recent Veritas Forum on campus.
Please pray for:
- InterVarsity chapter members at Santa Rosa Junior College in California as they meet January 8-10 to seek God's vision for campus and develop outreach events.
- Non-Christian students at Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania as they attend Groups Investigating God (GIGs)—Bible studies for seekers—and discover the character of Christ and truth of the Gospel. Also pray that many of these students will accept Christ into their lives.
- Campus staff ministering at Georgia colleges and universities as they continue to develop prayer and financial support teams.
- Sarai Buchanan, volunteer staff at Roosevelt University in downtown Chicago, as she and five to ten core students work to establish an InterVarsity chapter and share the Gospel on campus.
- Chelsea Yu as she continues work to plant an InterVarsity chapter at Bellarmine University, a Catholic university in Louisville, KY.

January 10-16
Thank God for:
- New opportunities for ministry in New York City’s The Julliard School and the Manhattan School of Music.
- Growth of InterVarsity's ministry to art students at schools in Chicago. In the last several years, the ministry has grown from two small prayer groups to over 50 students involved on three campuses.
- One hundred and three students accepting Christ into their lives over the last year on campuses throughout Ohio.
Please pray for:
- Abner Ramos, area director of LaFe in the Los Angeles division, to continue deepening his relationship with Christ as he works with staff and shares the Gospel with Latino students.
- Staff from Connecticut, Rhode Island, and western Massachusetts to be strengthened in their faith, sense of calling, and commitment to the mission as they attend a Spiritual Formation retreat, January 10-11. Also pray for Hallie Cowan as she plans, attends, and leads this retreat.
- InterVarsity chapter members at Santa Rosa Junior College in California as they invite non-Christian students into relationships with Jesus through worship and fellowship during their January 14 kick-off meeting.
- InterVarsity staff members in Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN, as they pray and work together on renewing their passion and vision for ministry on area campuses.

January 17-23
Thank God for:
- InterVarsity's new Human Resources management system, Encompass, installed at the National Service Center in Madison, WI, where team members support campus staff who are planting and building InterVarsity chapters around the country.
Please pray for:
- Tina Min as she meets and shares the love of God with students at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston and as she seeks to establish an InterVarsity chapter on campus.
- Students from Jacksonville University, a newly established InterVarsity chapter, as they seek God's guidance, prepare to attend North Florida's Spring Conference, and reach their campus for Christ.
- Staff Directors of the Central and Red River Regional Leadership Teams, meeting January 19-22 to discuss partnership and develop synergy to better serve their regions.
- Participants in a Southeast regional prospective staff weekend, January 22-23, as they seek God's direction in their lives and consider joining InterVarsity staff and minister to college and university students in Georgia and Tennessee.
- Jane Hall as she seeks God's direction in beginning her role as interim director for Nurses Christian Fellowship.
- Staff as they continue working to plant and develop ministry to commuter students on the California State University—Los Angeles campus.

January 24-30
Thank God for:
- Three students accepting Christ into their lives at Santa Rosa Junior College in California.
- Ife Ojetayo, who as a 2004 InterVarsity leader and alumnus from Binghamton University in New York, is leading Bible study and discipling members at his church.
Please pray for:
- Directors of InterVarsity's Global and Urban Projects as they gather, January 27-31, in Mexico City for preparation to lead students on missions trips in the coming spring and summer months.
- Taiei Harimoto, Adrian Lock, and Chris Light as they continue to minister and share the Gospel with students at Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA, and seek God's guidance as they prepare for their future careers.
- African American scholars and professionals on campuses across the nation as they continue gathering in their InterVarsity chapters for worship and prayer, seeking to grow in their relationships with God.
- Students across the country who attended InterVarsity's Urbana 09 Student Missions Conference in December as they pray about how to participate in God's global mission.
- Rugby players at Bemidji State University in Minnesota, participating in the recently established GIG Bible study, to discover the truth of the Gospel and develop relationships with Jesus.

January 31-February 6
Thank God for:
- Growing numbers of interested missional students involved in the new InterVarsity chapter for commuter students at the University of Massachusetts in Boston.
Please pray for:
- Candidates to respond to God’s call and establish student ministry at colleges and universities in Arkansas. InterVarsity has had no chapters in this state for several years.
- Students in Kentucky and Tennessee to meet Jesus in a new way as they gather for Scripture study, teaching, and worship during the annual Getaway conference, February 5-7.
- African American students to grow in their relationships with Jesus and one another during Release ’10, a one-day gathering on February 6 for campuses in the Mid-Atlantic region.
- Mary Chong Carrera, InterVarsity’s team leader at San Jose State University in California as she leads students and staff and prepares for the birth of her first child in mid-February.
- Students and staff at Central College in Pella, IA, to boldly share the Gospel with non-Christians on campus by establishing small group Bible studies for seekers.
- Jason and Andrea Huang as they share the Gospel and lead a Bible study for non-Christian students at the University of Pittsburgh, PA. Pray that many of these students will accept the truth claims of Scripture and begin relationships with Jesus Christ.

February 7-13
Thank God for:
- Melissa Swalla, Kevin Nalty, and Amanda Snodgrass, campus interns in Montana, as they continue to lead and minister to students at area colleges and universities.
Please pray for:
- Candidates to respond to God's call and join the Graduate & Faculty Ministries Northeast staff team, now in need of an area director, campus staff, and professional schools staff in New York, New Jersey, and Philadelphia.
- Three to four hundred students from campuses around Texas and Oklahoma as they meet, February 12-13, to discuss righteousness during the annual Breakthrough conference.
- Students in the multiethnic InterVarsity chapter at the University of Illinois—Chicago as they seek God's direction in planning a mini-missions week outreach this spring on campus.
- Bobby Gross, director of Graduate & Faculty Ministries, as he encourages campus staff in their efforts to come alongside graduate students and faculty and equip them for helping to renew their universities.
- Non-Christian international students at the University of Wisconsin—Madison to trust in the Lord as they attend small group Bible studies.
- Students on campuses across the country as they prepare to share God's love within their campus communities and host outreach events on Valentines Day, February 14.

February 14-20
Thank God for:
- Chris and Laurie Goree, who have successfully planted a new InterVarsity chapter with 40-50 students regularly involved at the University of Oklahoma in Norman.
- Andrea Thomas, associate regional director in the Red River region, who is returning from a sabbatical and is eager to provide leadership and vision for staff and students.
- Growth of the InterVarsity chapter at West Virginia University in Morgantown, with seven students accepting Christ and one chapter leader, Katie McKeever, joining InterVarsity campus staff.
Please pray for:
- Undergraduate students at the University of Illinois at Urbana—Champaign as they seek God's guidance in creating new ministry structures and establishing ministries in unreached dorms and populations on campus.
- Members of the Great Lakes West Strategic Evangelism Team as they continue to plan evangelistic events on campuses and invite non-Christians to discover the truth of Scripture.
- Amy Schoepf, InterVarsity staff, as she meets students and shares the Gospel, while planting an InterVarsity chapter at the Des Moines Area Community College in Iowa.
- InterVarsity staff members on campuses in Minneapolis—St. Paul, MN, as they work to plant new chapters on area campuses.

Thank God for:
- New Nurses Christian Fellowship chapters that have begun on college campuses this past year.
- Chapter growth on campuses throughout the Great Lakes West region.
- The passion of InterVarsity students at DePaul University to pursue justice in the city of Chicago.
Please pray for:
- Staff and students to boldly share the Gospel of Christ within their campus communities in the Rocky Mountain region.
- Candidates to join InterVarsity's New York staff team and share the Gospel as they build witnessing communities at Pace University in New York City and at Long Island University in downtown Brooklyn. Also pray for potential staff who will work to plant an InterVarsity chapter at Fordham University in the Bronx.
- Graduate students in chapters across the country to grow in understanding of God's love for university students. Pray for these InterVarsity graduate students to take the time to share with colleagues the Good News and the joy and freedom Jesus offers.
- Students to seek God's guidance as they consider sharing the Gospel and serving throughout the country by participating in one of InterVarsity’s many spring break service projects.
