Welcome to the new Church Relations site

The Church is God's primary way of advancing His Kingdom in this world. InterVarsity, through its campus ministries, is dedicated to developing life-long church members and building ministry relationships with churches.

InterVarsity has been ministering to the university, the birthplace of many cultural trends, for more than sixty years. In order to serve our students, we have developed resource materials in missions, evangelism and discipleship that are relevant to the issues and communication styles of the day. We have a number of resources available.

If you are looking for resources for small groups, help for high school seniors going to college, ideas for international student outreach, or biblical teaching, we can help. InterVarsity’s ministry resources include books, CD’s, DVD’s, training manuals, and people who are knowledgeable in a variety of areas such as racial reconciliation and short-term missions. InterVarsity also offers students and others the opportunity to explore missions through Urbana, our triennial missions conventions. We are delighted to share these resources and many others with the church.

For many of your church’s young people, their years of study on campus prove to be the most spiritually formative period in their lives. During their college years, Christian students may question the values of their family and doctrines of their church. Some students leave the church all together, never to return. But InterVarsity is committed to helping students grow in their relationship with God. Through the careful study of Scripture and community experiences, we deepen students’ knowledge of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and urge them to be life-long active members of a local church.
