At Urbana 06, StudentSoul.org set up a graffiti wall with three questions. One was a reflective question: “How is God at work in your soul?” The others were, “What issues of the soul do students face on your campus?” and “If you could ask God a question, what would it be?” Here are some of the responses students wrote on the wall.

EC - God at work in your soul

How is God at work in your soul?

We chose this question for Urbana 06 because the hectic nature of events can keep us from pausing to reflect. Healing, identity, challenge, calling, longing and more emerge in the responses.

EC - Urbana 06 Issues students face

What issues of the soul do students face on your campus?

The responses to this one show us that students are deeply in touch with each other. From confusion to a hopeful desire to make life count, fellow students are crying out for meaning and answers.

EC - Urbana 06 Ask God

If you could ask God a question, what would it be?

This question evokes the widest range of responses. It’s not really an easy question, since most of us have so many to ask, and the questions we’re comfortable making public aren’t always the ones most on our heart. Nonetheless, here are some thoughtful questions—and whimsical ones, too.

How would you respond to these? Leave a comment here or on any of the questions’ pages.
