for Urbana 2000

Besides your role as a student missionary on campus, this year you will have the opportunity to attend Urbana 2000. One way to see your experience at Urbana is as a “fifth-dimension” experience: a time where you prayerfully experience God’s work in missions. At Urbana 2000, God will draw us into worship as we consider his work in the world. He will begin to show us more of our place in his mission and more of his place in the world. I have been involved in prayer at Urbana in various ways since 1990, and I have seen the awesome power of God in every aspect of the convention. I expect to see God do even greater works in Urbana 2000. The Urbana leadership team is convinced that God moves in the hearts of students just as he moves in his own mission in the world: in communion with the prayers of his people.
