If several of your small-group members are planning to attend Urbana 2000, here are a few suggestions to make the most of your time:

  • By walking through the registration lines at the same time, you may find that you are able to get housing together (sorry, no guarantees).

  • Plan to attend some of the afternoon seminars together so you can discuss them and follow through on them back on campus.

  • Split up to go to some other seminars individually. Take good notes so you can bring the information back to your group.

  • Set up several times during the convention to rendezvous as a whole group. You can compare notes and pray together.

  • After the convention and back on campus, commit to meeting at least once to discuss what you experienced at Urbana 2000 and to pray about what God may be doing in you and your group.

  • If most of your small group went to Urbana 2000, you could devote one meeting a month to working together on Urbana-related follow-up, praying for each other and holding each other accountable to any goals your group members set.
