Time limits encourage everyone to achieve fuller potential. Specialization helps everyone focus more clearly on the goals. The two together enable more fruitful, valuable time as a team.
Some good times for business meetings:
Meals. Breakfast is usually so early that people aren’t thinking too clearly. Go for a lunch or a dinner unless you have an unusually perky team!
In the early evening. Meet right before dinner so you can head for food together when you’re done.
Late evening. A short 30-45 minute business meeting can be a great study break (rotate in providing snacks). Besides, with the call of homework pressing, everyone should come focused, ready to talk, and unwilling to waste too many words. If you need 15-30 more minutes on occasion, it can be added into the back end if you give enough advance notice.
