Send out the agenda two days beforehand. This lets everyone come prepared to discuss the topics at hand.
Prioritize the agenda. You’ll never handle everything. Figure out what needs to be discussed, delegate other tasks, and catch up with individuals outside of your meeting. Leave time for others to bring up items not on your proposed agenda.
Pray. Ask God to give you wisdom and discernment as you make important decisions affecting the spiritual welfare of your friends.
Enter into meetings open to new ideas. One point of discussion is to generate different, innovative ways of accomplishing goals. Believe in the creativity and intuitions of your team members.
Publicize the meetings. Avoid elitism and encourage members of the fellowship to come. This increases the general ownership everyone feels, whether they come or not.
