Ultimately, our success is measured by how well the NYU community, Christian or not, hears and wrestles with Jesus’ gospel loudly and clearly proclaimed by a people of every denomination, tradition, tribe, tongue, people and nation. Presently and practically that means asking five questions.
1)How well is inter-fellowship communication proceeding with and without the CIFC’s aid?
2) Are cooperative outreach planning meetings attended by representatives of all the Christian groups?
3) At inter-fellowship gatherings are all the Christian groups represented, and are members from different groups forming friendships with one another?
4) How many evangelistic events are happening where various fellowships are represented and are helping to set them up?
5) And most importantly, in conversations with our friends about the Christian faith, are they clearly hearing the gospel and its united proclamation by Christians of every stripe?
