Engaging the City

The City. A dangerous place for good Christians to avoid at all costs? Or a beautiful place ripe with Kingdom possibilities? The City continues to grow in beauty and complexity and multi-ethnicity and poverty and size and power and significance. Like it or not, our future as a planet is urban. So, how fast are Cities really growing? And what does this mean for the church? And how can I as a disciple of Jesus respond? This track is open to anyone interested in honestly wrestling with these issues. (It is required for all Denver Urban Partnership participants.)
