Academic Encouragement
Our staff workers and faculty sponsors are mature,
responsible Christians who mentor students and encourage them to
develop their intellectual gifts.
Ministry Opportunities
Each campus group develops its own means to engage
the university with the Gospel. InterVarsity students learn to share
their faith in an intellectually challenging environment.
Ethnic Diversity
Over 30% of InterVarsity students reflect ethnic minorities.
We work to achieve biblical reconciliation and justice in the context
of the campus' rich diversity.

Leadership
Training
Students gain experience in leadership by planning
and directing the group's activities on campus. Leadership training
is offered on campus, at vacation conferences, during service
projects and at InterVarsity's training centers
Service and Mission
Overseas Global Projects and domestic Urban Projects provide cross-cultural
opportunities for witness and ministry to the disadvantaged.
World Missions
InterVarsity Missions is concerned with the worldview
development of students and staff and partnernship with the International
Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES). InterVarsity's triennial
student mission convention (Urbana ®)
teaches students about worldview opportunities in missions.
A Supportive Community
Our campus meetings, friendships and off campus training
opportunities encourage students to reflect on and mature in their
beliefs.
Biblical Teaching
Small Group Bible studies, biblical exposition and
resources such as Student Leadership Journal and books from InterVarsity
Press®, provide a sound basis for dealing with spiritual,
moral, and personal issues.
