Engaging Minds

 A N N U A L   R E P O R T   2 0 0 8 

Twenty students attended a small group Bible study at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. Using resources from InterVarsity Press, students studied the Scriptures and considered how to integrate their faith into every aspect of their lives.

These students not only sought to grow spiritually as they learned about Jesus, but they grew in their relationships with one another. The Bible study grew as students invited their friends.

“When I came to Bucknell, I really hoped to find a Christian community that encouraged me in my walk with Christ,” a freshman participant said. “Through InterVarsity, I learned to study the Bible and apply God’s Word to my life. Small group Bible studies have helped me grow closer to Jesus. I am so thankful for the role that InterVarsity played in my first semester at Bucknell and in my transition to college.”

InterVarsity provides a place on campus where students can develop and deepen their relationships with Jesus Christ. One of InterVarsity’s commitments is to discipleship of the mind. Our students learn to think biblically about world issues. InterVarsity Press publishes books to help Christians grow in their discipleship to Jesus Christ.
