InterVarsity’s Urbana 06 Student Missions Convention is now about three months away, and final details are starting to fall into place for InterVarsity staff who are preparing for the triennial event.

Urbana 06 will be held at the Edward Jones Dome and the America’s Center in St. Louis, December 27-31. Mission Network News did an Urbana update interview with Urbana Director Jim Tebbe and mentioned several key points:

• Urbana 06 registrations have passed 10,500
• On October 15, the Urbana 06 registration fee increases by $75
• The move to St. Louis will allow Urbana 06 to offer more missions information to more people
• Urbana’s purpose is to challenge each generation of students in North America to understand God’s mission and God’s purpose in the world
