| A Process for Learning to Choose Wisely |
Dyann and I developed this page to communicate to graduating seniors the way we intentionally evaluate larger purchases and significant lifestyle choices. It's not very original, but maybe a little radical. Don't miss our Excel forms for house buying. (more info) by John & Dyann Egleston |

| Housing decision-making forms |
Applying the principles and method outlined in a "Process for Learning to Choose Wisely" to a recent decision, we took some of the pain out of comparing apples with oranges - and the math involved. The top worksheet was the basis for notes before, during and after visiting a property. The template worksheet categorizes and prioritizes observations according to our values. Once it's finalized for the decision at hand, it gets copied to subsequent worksheets, one for each scenario, often including the status quo. All of this could look very different for someone else.
