Good News for Women (Baker, 1996, 274 pg.) Rebecca Merrill Groothuis *a somewhat easier-to-read overview; focuses greatly on the supposed logically fallacy of “equal in being, unequal in function”
Discovering Biblical Equality, 2nd ed. (InterVarsity, 2005, 528 pg.) Ronald W. Pierce, Rebecca Merrill Groothuis & Gordon D. Fee (eds.) *the newest, most comprehensive egalitarian text
Christians for Biblical Equality http://www.cbeinternational.org *evangelical organization promoting egalitarianism, provides articles and sells books

(InterVarsity, 2003, 332 pg.) Sarah Sumner *written by first woman to earn a Ph.D. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, is critical of both egalitarianism and complementarianism at points
Slaves, Women and Homosexuals (InterVarsity, 2001, 301 pg.) William J. Webb *in the end, more supportive of women’s leadership than not, but based on a “redemptive-movement hermeneutic” that denounces slavery, promotes gender-equality, and rejects homosexuality

Rise Up: A Call to Leadership for African-American Women (InterVarsity, 2004, 144 pg.) Sylvia Rose *encourages African-American women to aspire to leadership in various areas of life and develop the character and skills of a Christian leader

Catherine Clark Kroeger & Mary Evans *covers complete OT & NT, emphasizing the women featured in the biblical narrative, the way the Bible speaks to the female experience today, and the importance of seeing Scripture through the eyes of women as well as men (as done in most evangelical commentaries)
Living on the Boundaries: Evangelical Women, Feminism, and the Theological Academy (InterVarsity, 2005, 203 pg.)
