Atlanta 05 Conference Director: Boris Collins

Boris E. CollinsBoris E. Collins

Director of Atlanta 2005 National Black Student Conference
Black Campus Ministries, InterVarsity Christian Fellowship

Rev. Boris Collins will be serving as the director of our upcoming Atlanta 2005 Conference. He has degrees in Music Performance and Business Management and has worked for years in the business world. He also has extensive experience in conference leadership, having served for over a decade as the director of New England's Black Student Conference, Black Campus Ministries, InterVarsity Christian Fellowship.

Boris grew-up in a Christian home, but received the Lord while an undergraduate at Wichita State University. His ministerial training has been within the churches he attended. Many of those pastors trained and mentored him over the years. During that time he became a deacon and eventually an ordained deacon. Over the past 20 years, he has worked with college students with his wife, Rev. Dr. Alice Brown-Collins. He later accepted the call to pastoral ministry and began preparing for ordination. He was later ordained, August 2002, and continued to work with college students.

Boris has a pastor's heart, and leads a congregation in Framingham, MA. He and his wife live in Holliston, MA and they are the parents of two children, Jamal and Kateri Collins.
