Known
for their practical applications of Biblical revelation, transparency, and
their down-to-earth style, and creativity, Minister Aberdeen Allen,
Jr. Ph.D. and Minister Roslyn Allen are sold-out worshippers, anointed
to preach, teach, and motivate young adults to passionately pursue Christ Jesus
for wholeness and destiny. Students of the Word, ministers Allen are
sought after speakers who are unafraid to go there-- to creatively tackle the
real life real world challenges that confront today's young adults--from a
scriptural perspective, to ignite the spirit, and to give hope.
Under the auspices of Bishop Donald Hilliard, Jr., senior pastor of the Cathedral
International Church in New Jersey, God has allowed Ministers Deen and Ros
to pioneer the CrossFire! Young Adult ministry. CrossFire's Innovative
approach incorporates rigorous bible study with the use of technology, music,
and outreach to teach and reach young adults with the love of God and provide
godly alternatives and support as young people mature in faith and purpose.
Most recently, they have also launched the New Jersey Young Adult Ministry
Leaders Network, a collaborative group designed to foster unity and collaboration
among college chaplains, college ministry leaders and church young adult ministry
leaders throughout the state.
Minister Aberdeen Allen grew up in inner-city Boston and after accepting Christ
as a teen, overcame the temptations of street life, drugs, and educational
battles with dyslexia – going on to earn a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Brandeis
University. He currently works as a Senior Research Scientist for Colgate-Palmolive
and serves as CEO of his own motivational speaking firm, Urban Edge, LLC.
Minster Roslyn M. Allen is a native of inner-city Philadelphia and also accepted
Christ as a teen. She holds dual degrees from Brown University in Management
and African American Studies, and has completed graduate coursework at Harvard
and Columbia universities. Her testimony is that the power of God has delivered
her from bitterness, low self-esteem, and ungodly relationships. She presently
works as a consultant, managing communications projects for a fortune 70 financial
services firm in New York and serves as President of Urban Edge, LLC, a motivational
speaking firm based in New Jersey.
Happily married for over 10 years, Ministers Allen have 2 phenomenal children
and reside in New Jersey.
Pastor Mrs Esther Ibanga is the senior pastor of Jos Christian Missions International
in Jos Nigeria. This ministry was founded on the 24th December 1995, two years
after she was given the vision by the Lord. The thrust of the ministry has
been to Recruit, Equip and Release missionaries to the nations to be the light
of the world.
The ministry has grown and today has birthed several ministries such as “Wiphans
International Foundation” a non-governmental organization that cares
for widows, orphans and the needy in our society. In January 2005 the television
program, “This Present Truth,” was birthed. It has been impacting
the city of Jos and beyond as it challenges believers to search the present
truth of God’s Word concerning unbiblical teachings and practices in
the church. Another voice God has given Pastor Ibanga is the radio program “Home
Front,” for the discussion of issues affecting the family as well as
relationships and to offer solutions based on the word of God. This year also
the Lord led her in June to organize a women’s conference in Cape Town,
South Africa tagged “Women of His Power” where there were great
deliverances and healing. The Lord has also graced her to release her first
book “Extinguishing the Fire Extinguisher”
Pastor Esther has a Bachelor and a Masters degree in Business Administration.
She worked with the Central Bank of Nigeria for 16 years where she rose to
the position of Manager until she left in July 2001 to give full attention
to the heavenly vision.
Pastor Esther Ibanga resides in Jos, Nigeria with her husband,Dr Iko Ibanga
who runs a non-governmental organization “Pro Health International.” They

Reverend
Byron Williams serves as pastor of the Resurrection Community
Church in Oakland, CA. He is believed to be the only pastor/syndicated columnist
in the country.
Provocative and insightful are adjectives used to describe Reverend Williams.
A self-described "prisoner to hope," Williams fuses theology with public policy
to bring a fresh social justice perspective to the public arena. Williams draws
a distinction between religiosity and theology and this distinction sharpens
his critique of current events. His commitment to "changing the status quo
conversation," prods his readers to think deeper about the critical issues
facing Americans in the 21st century.
Williams writes a twice weekly social/political column for the Oakland Tribune.
His column has appeared in 20 publications including the Atlanta Journal Constitution,
LA Daily News, Christianity Today and Public Theology. His column is also featured
on several progressive websites including
Princeton professor Cornel West considers Byron's work "groundbreaking and
historic." The Rev. Dr. J. Alfred Smith, Sr. of Allen Temple Baptist Church
calls Williams "the Reinhold Niebuhr of his day."
Williams has interviewed former presidential candidate John Kerry, Senator
Ted Kennedy, Princeton professor Cornel West, Michael Scheuer, former Chief
of the CIA Counterterrorist Center's Bin Laden Unit, and writer/poet Maya Angelou.
His articles have been quoted by Al Franken on the nationally syndicated radio
program Air America, and Arianna Huffington, syndicated columnist and former
candidate for Governor of California.
In addition to his pastoral duties, Williams has spoken at several Bay Area
colleges including: San Francisco State University, University of California,
Berkeley, University of San Francisco, Santa Clara University and Laney Community
College. He has appeared on CNN and National Public Radio.
Rev. Williams resides in Oakland, California with his ten-year-old son Malik
Isaiah Williams.
Harvey
Cozart is known for his passion for evangelism. His work in evangelism
has taken him around the country and the world – from speaking to collegiate
audiences to leading evangelism seminars before an international audience
in the Netherlands to missions projects in China and Africa.
Harvey has also used the medium of writing as a vehicle for teaching on evangelism.
In May 2003, his article Free to Tell the Story was published in The
Student Leadership Journal. This article serves to challenge the reader to
take practical steps to become more intentional in evangelism as well provide
hope for change.
Harvey, a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, has faithfully served
as InterVarsity Campus Staff at his Alma Mata and the University of Kentucky
for the past 7 1/2 years.
