  3. Australia Apprenticeship Program

  4. 2-year Internship Program
Young staff apprentice in evangelism, ministry skills and theology under the direction of an experienced Australian staff worker. Learning and ministry is done in an English-speaking environment, but knowledge of East or Southeast Asian languages would be a plus.

Contact AFES General Secretary, Richard Chin, rchin@afes.org.au for more information or an application.

  5. Great Britain Universities and Colleges Christian Fellowship (UCCF)

  6. UCCF has vacancies for Christian Union Staff Workers (CUSWs), in various posts:

CUSWs play the key role in UCCF's student ministry, getting involved with students in: sharing the gospel on campus, bible study, discipleship and thinking biblically about study and lifestyle.

CU Staff Workers are part of a team, which together serves students in a particular region. CUSWs tend to work with 3-5 CUs each within their 'patch' of their region, sometimes in partnership with another CUSW or a volunteer, sometimes working solo, but all with the help and support of their team leader. CUSWs tend to serve with UCCF for 3-5 years.
Candidates need to be graduates themselves, in agreement with UCCF's evangelical ethos, and willing to fund-raise some of their own employment costs. Candidates should be enthusiastic, have evangelistic commitment and experience, and a passion for students. They should have communication and pastoral skills, and be able to build relationships and work interdenominationally.

Contact Cally Scholes at ccs@uccf.org.uk for an application pack and information on the 2009 deadlines.
