Christian Monitor's aim is to provide up-to-date media resources on the persecuted Church worldwide. Christian Monitor provides resources and information on Christian persecution and the suffering Church. It is a call to prayer for persecuted and suffering Christians, for the persecuted Church and the modern martyrs who daily die for the Gospel of Christ.

This website was recently created to monitor the persecution of modern Christians. It is an information portal to news items that deal specifically with persecution and is updated nearly everyday.

Christian Monitor believes the most important thing we as Christians can do for the persecuted Church is prayer. Prayer is central. Christians need to be aware of modern persecution of Christians in certain parts of the world and remember them and their needs in prayer.
