A number of special conferences and "camps," designed for international student seekers and others, are held in the USA and Canada each year, particularly during the Christmas and New Year's vacation period in December-January.

In the USA:

Bear Trap Ranch in Colorado similarly hosts one or two annual "Houseparties for Internationals" at the Christmas break, and another in late May each year. For more details see: http://www.intervarsity.org/ism/article_item.php?article_id=238

In Canada:

"International Christmas" conferences or "camps" are held annually in the following regions: British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, and Atlantic provinces. Information on these events can be found by contacting local Inter-Varsity Canadian offices or staff, or one of the Pioneer Camps where they may be held. See http://www.pioneercamps.com

In cooperation with many other groups, ISI has put on their website a list of many events (some annual, some only occasional), designed for international student "seekers." These include some annual conferences and others held only once or twice in the past 10 years, and some may have been discontinued, but the contacts given on this list will enable you to find out.
