The Christian Century magazine (July 27, 2004 issue) published an article by Dale T. Irvin reviewing two important books recently, one authored by Dr. Lamin Sanneh and the other edited by Dr. Wilbert R. Shenk.

These two seminal books give an overview of the global realities of the Christian Church, much as did Dr. Philip Jenkins' book, The Next Christendom: The Coming of Global Christianity, published in 2002.

These new books are titled:
Whose Religion Is Christianity? The Gospel Beyond the West
and Enlarging the Story: Perspectives on Writing World Christian History
