Expectations

The formal position description is only a starting point in defining the work the Interim Ministry Associate does. Each assignment is refined in a working agreement that is drafted by InterVarsity leaders, with the potential Interim Ministry Associate in mind.

The working agreement includes the expectations for the work and ministry including:

  • Location and duration of the assignment
  • The role of the line supervisor and the Director of Interim Ministry
  • The key tasks and responsibilities
  • Reporting procedures
  • Hours (full time, part time)
  • Remuneration and support to be raised (if any)
  • Travel requirements
