January 15-21

15 One thousand new international students study at Oregon State University in Corvallis this semester. Thank God for 138 students who have requested a Bible or joined a Bible study and 158 who wanted a conversation partner to improve their English.

16 Pray for participants in ADEE, the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES) movement in the Dominican Republic, as they develop vision to reach students with the Gospel on their campuses.
 

17 The Urbana 12 Bible study facilitators team are preparing for the Urbana Student Missions Conference in December 2012. Pray they continue growing in God’s Word as they meet January 17-20 to study the Gospel of Luke and plan.
 

18 Pray for Adam Lepp, campus intern, and the student leaders at Bemidji State University in Minnesota as they discuss and solidify InterVarsity’s identity on campus.
 

19 Eighty students and faculty across the U.S. will participate in InterVarsity’s first National Planting Conference January 19-22 in Tampa, FL. Pray they return to campuses equipped to start a Bible study or plant a chapter.
 

20 New student leaders on campuses in Eastern and Central New York will gather for the Leaders’ Days conference January 20-22. Pray they develop skills which will foster chapter growth.
 

21 Pray for native Hawaiian and other Pacific Islander students at the University of Hawaii and Hawaii Community College in Hilo to be spiritually curious as InterVarsity members reach out in friendship and share the Gospel of Christ.
