Thank God for:
- New Christians at Bemidji State University in MN. Pray that over the summer they continue to grow in their relationships with Jesus Christ.
Please pray for:
- Matt and DiAnn Service, InterVarsity staff serving at Cedar
Campus, a student training facility located in Michigan,
to trust in God's provision as they recover from the loss of
their home to fire back in March.
- Members of the Professional Schools Ministries leadership team as they attend a retreat in Chicago, IL, May 1-2 to discuss future ministry plans.
- InterVarsity staff members in North Carolina as they seek new partners to join their prayer and financial support teams; enabling them to effectively minister to students on campuses next fall.
- Shannon Spaulding, Stephanie Clark-Bennett, and Jackie Cottle, new InterVarsity staff members, as they develop ministry partnerships throughout the spring and summer in order to minister effectively on campuses throughout the Interstate 80 Area.
- Graduating seniors who are making decisions concerning stewardship of their finances as they join the professional marketplace.
- Jim Friedericks, Link staff supervisor; and Diane Friedericks; and Gideon Young, regional secretary for East Asia International Fellowship of Evangelical Students, as they lead a spiritual retreat this week for InterVarsity Link staff in East Asia.

| May 11-17 |
Thank God for:
- Graduating seniors in the North Central region (MN, ND, and
SD). Also pray that these new alumni leave a great legacy of
strong leadership within their InterVarsity chapters.
Please pray for:
- Over 1,000 students to embrace God's vision for the
ministry on their campuses as this summer they attend
week-long training camps focused on evangelism, Bible
study, and leadership, all held at Cedar Campus, one of
InterVarsity's training facilities in Michigan.
- Jeremy Greenberg and his family as they transition into the community in Boone, NC, this summer and begin ministering to students at Appalachian State University in Boone, and Lees McRae College-Banner Elk, NC, in the fall.
- Christie Heller DeLeon, team leader at the University of California-Davis, as she and her husband Brian prepare for the birth of their first child later this month.
- Participants in InterVarsity small groups and GIGs-Groups Investigating God, Bible studies for non-Christian students-to continue the relationships they have formed after the semester meetings are over. Also pray that some of the non-Christian students involved accept Jesus as their Savior.
- The 400-500 students who for the next three weeks will be attending Basileia, chapter camp for the New York/New Jersey region to be equipped and mobilized to engage their campuses in the fall.
- Students from campuses across the North Central region (MN, ND, SD) to grow in their faith and leadership skills as they attend Pursuit, chapter camp the weeks of May 11-16 and May 18-23.

Thank God for:
- The growing ministry among graduate and law students
at Emory University-Atlanta, GA.
- New InterVarsity staff members committed to serving students on campuses throughout New York City.
Please pray for:
- One hundred and fifty student leaders from the Central region (MO, IA, KS, NE) as they attend Catalyst, a student conference held May 18-23 at the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. Pray they return to their colleges and boldly proclaim the Gospel of Christ within their campus communities.
- Members of the Long Island, NY InterVarsity staff team to seek God's direction as they discuss establishing Nurses Christian Fellowship ministry on area campuses.
- Hallie Cowan, assistant regional director in Spiritual Direction and Prayer in the New England region, to experience rest and refreshment from the Lord as she is on sabbatical from her current ministry duties through July. Pray that her time away will renew her passion and vision for her work with college students.
- Casey Beckley, InterVarsity staff at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, and the student leadership team to seek God's wisdom as they continue ministering to students affected by the recent campus shootings.
- Graduating seniors from York College in Pennsylvania to connect with supportive Christian communities after leaving campus. Also pray they will encourage others to follow Jesus more closely.

Thank God for:
- Josh Howell, area director for the Texas Gulf Coast area, and his visionary leadership as he partners with campus staff in this new role.
- Transforming lives in the Red River region, as evidenced by increasing numbers of students accepting Christ into their lives.
Please pray for:
- People to join the InterVarsity staff team in southern
Minnesota in serving students and sharing the hope of
the Gospel of Christ on college campuses.
- Students at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., who desire to lead their fellow classmates into deeper relationships with Jesus as they seek to re-establish an InterVarsity chapter.
- People to join the InterVarsity staff team in sharing the Gospel and serving graduate students on campuses throughout Michigan.
- Three hundred students in the Red River region to seek God's vision throughout the summer and return to their campuses in the fall boldly
proclaiming the Gospel of Christ.
- Carolyn Boatsman and Koreena Borromeo, new InterVarsity staff at Texas A & M University in College Station to trust God's provision as they seek financial partnership throughout the summer.

Thank God for:
- Three Native American men at Northern Arizona University-Flagstaff accepting Christ into their lives this past semester.
- The thirteen candidates who are considering InterVarsity staff work and sharing the Gospel of Christ with students on campuses throughout the
Rocky Mountain region.
Please pray for:
- Dr. Kristine Whitnable, writer for InterVarsity's Advancement Department, to seek God's guidance and trust the Lord's provision as she transitions to Oxford, England, to work with the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students by telling the stories of God's work among students all over the world.
- Members of the Great Lakes East regional staff team as they gather for their staff conference June 2-5 and discuss the theme Advancing Multiethnic Witnessing Communities. Pray for participants to
renew their commitments to multiethnic ministry and carrying the mission forward on campuses.
- A candidate to join the InterVarsity staff team at the University of West Florida-Pensacola, ministering and sharing the Gospel with students.
- Betsy Hegland, InterVarsity staff at the University of Minnesota-Duluth and her husband Drew as they begin a new life of marriage and ministry.
- Suzanne VanderWeyst, staff at St. Cloud State University in Minnesota to trust God's provision and protection as she is deployed this summer for
National Guard duty.

Thank God for:
- The six international students at the University of Washington-Tacoma and Portland State University in
Oregon who, during the past school year, have accepted
Jesus Christ into their lives.
- New International Student Ministries staff members in the Northwest region, who are stepping into places of need as faithful ministers of the Gospel on campuses.
Please pray for:
- Members of the New York/New Jersey regional
leadership team to seek God's vision as they meet
June 9-11 and set ministry goals for the next
academic year.
- Participants in the Professional Schools Ministries and Women in the Academy & Professions as they serve residents and share the Gospel of Christ in the Central African Republic June 10-27.
- Al Norby, Vince Miller, George Gardner, Paul Manson, Brian Asker, Rick Mattson, Terry Fisher, and Emmy Lou Lindgren, members of the North Central region leadership team, to be refreshed this summer and return in the fall ready to serve students.
- Participants in the East Asia Global Projects as they serve residents; that they would not experience difficulties related to the Olympics. Also pray that all team members receive the appropriate visas in a timely manner.
- Students on campuses across the nation as they develop their Christian leadership skills through InterVarsity.

Thank God for:
- Ron Riesinger, area director serving international students in the Northwest region, experiencing a restorative sabbatical; so that he is able to encourage students as they grow in their relationships with Christ.
Please pray for:
- Staff in San Diego to trust in God-s provision as they
seek financial partnership in order to minister to
students on campuses within the city.
- The right candidate to join the InterVarsity staff team at Ursinus College-Collegeville, PA, and share God's love with students. Also pray that this fall the student leaders will step into their roles with confidence in Jesus.
- Brian and Sandi Asker, Betsy Hegland, and Suzanne Barbknecht, staff in northern Minnesota, as they plan effective evangelism strategies for the upcoming year.
- Students who have accepted Christ into their lives during the past school year to continue growing in Christian discipleship and their relationships with Jesus over the summer.
- Passionate Christian students on the campus of Georgia Perimeter College, a commuter school in Atlanta to seek God's guidance as they begin to
establish an InterVarsity chapter on campus.
- Students in the professional schools at the University of Wisconsin-Madison to make time for closer fellowship with other students and deepen their relationships with Christ in the midst of their studies.

International students attending the free lunch for
Internationals at Oregon State University-Corvallis and their spiritual openness to considering the truth claims of Christ.
Please pray for:
- One hundred and twenty-five new InterVarsity staff members to be well-equipped for ministering on their respective campuses across the country in the fall as they attend ONS, Orientation for New Staff, held June 23-July 2 in Madison, WI.
- Janet Balajthy, Kim Porter, and Greg Jao as they lead and train thirty new area directors in core ministry leadership and management skills June 28.
- InterVarsity staff to grow in knowledge about God, God's Word, and develop deeper intimacy in their relationships with Christ as they prepare to begin
seminary courses during NISET, National Institute for
Staff Education and Training.
- People to commit to God's work and join the InterVarsity staff team in sharing the Gospel of Christ with college students in Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN.
- Students and staff as they prepare to attend the School of Leadership Training, a month-long training camp through July, held at Cedar Campus, an InterVarsity training facility in Michigan.
- Students actively participating in the InterVarsity chapter at Albright College in Reading, PA, to boldly share their faith with non-Christian friends on campus.
