Creation

Genesis is the book in the Bible that explains why and how we were created. We are expressions of God's love, created for God's glory and to follow His plan for our life.

The Bible story you will read is not intended to answer scientific questions about our physical, biological, or molecular make-up. It is not written to tell us the process of creation, but rather, the origin of creation.

As you study the passage, you should begin to see God's purpose and plan for His creation which gives order and meaning to life.
