Program development continues apace for Following Christ 2008 (FC08). Here is a summary of the latest news.
We’ve announced the official rules and procedures for the Bosscher-Hammond Prize Competition. The Prizes will fund 26 semifinalists to attend FC08 and distribute $6,000 in prize money. The first milestone (the “Intent to Submit”), with a deadline of October 1, is rapidly approaching.
Our series of Director’s Videos continues, with #3 released on August 7 with reasons not to delay registering for the conference.
Andy Crouch will be hosting and moderating a wrap-up session — featuring interaction with various FC08 speakers, leaders, and delegates — during the conference’s final plenary session. (Crouch’s new book, Culture Making, has just been released by InterVarsity Press.)
Crouch will also be chairing the Bosscher-Hammond Prize Competition Jury, leading a team of jurors in the evaluation of the twenty-six semifinalists’ entries, hearing the oral presentations of the seven finalists, and naming the three winners onsite at FC08 in December.

Following Christ 2008 Theme: Human Flourishing
The FC08 theme is "human flourishing" — what it truly is, what's wrong when it's absent, and how God is calling us to both model and multiply it.
