All summer and fall, we'll be running a series of giveaways, drawings, contests, and special deals connected with the Following Christ 2008 conference. Here are the rules that explain who's eligible to enter these giveaways, in general.
We take your privacy seriously, because you're our friends, so any info you submit in connection with these contests is carefully managed according to the GFM Privacy Policy.
For the procedures, deadlines, and rules for any specific contest, you need to watch the videos themselves.
No previous winners
If you’ve already won one of these FC08 contests, congratulations! But you can’t win again — so tell your friends to enter, instead.
One entry per contestant
For each contest, you may enter only once. Even if you’re a Chicagoan.
By the end of the day
Any deadlines for entry are by the end of that day, Central Time. You’re smart people, you can figure it out.
Shipping to the U.S. only
If the prize involves shipping, then only U.S. residents are eligible to win. Sorry, we really do love the rest of the world, we just have to keep overhead down.
18 years and older
You must be 18 years old at the time of entry to win. Why? Because I’m the Daddy, that’s why.
While supplies last
If we’re giving something away that we can run out of, the offer is good only while supplies last.
Not refundable
Winnings in the form of a credit to your Following Christ 2008 account (or any similar prize) are not refundable or convertible.
Not where prohibited by law
Is it illegal for you to enter contests like this in your country, state, county, or municipality? First of all: ouch! Secondly, we hate to say it, but you’re ineligible.
No insiders
InterVarsity employees and their immediate families are ineligible to win. They can enter, they just can’t win. How sad is that?
Subject to change
These rules are subject to change without notice. We’ll try not to do that, but hey.
