Stan Wallace
National Director
Wesley Chapel, FL
Stan Wallace has served as the Director of Faculty Ministry since January 2004, after serving as a Team Leader and Area Director with InterVarsity in the Southeast. Prior to that he served with Campus Crusade for Christ’s Faculty Ministry for nine years. Stan earned his B.S. in Secondary Education from Miami University in 1985 and his M.A. in Philosophy of Religion and Ethics, summa cum laude, from Talbot School of Theology, Biola University, in 1994. He has pursued doctoral studies in Philosophy at Marquette University and has published in the areas of ethics, metaphysics and philosophy of religion.
Stan lives with his wife, Lori, in the Tampa Bay area. They have four children—two lovely daughters and two rambunctious sons. Stan enjoys mountain-biking, going to the beach, and football (playing and watching) with his family as often as possible! In quieter moments, he enjoys reading and watching historical documentaries.
Stan serves with InterVarsity’s Graduate & Faculty Ministries due to a deep sense of a shared Vision, Values and Theology of Ministry with GFM and all GFM staff. He says, “I am so humbled and thankful to serve with this outstanding team. I am constantly encouraged and spurred on ‘to love and good deeds’ by my team and colleagues, as we work together to see Christian faculty flourish and have a redeeming influence in higher education.”
