Ohio State University Price of Life
InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at Ohio State University is calling attention to a lesser-known evil of this day. The NOT FOR SALE Campaign estimates there are over 27 million people enslaved worldwide, and approximately 200,000 right here in the United States. NOT FOR SALE is a global partner with InterVarsity at OSU as they plan the upcoming outreach including campus-wide events with dozens of groups participating. Freedom Sunday
You may also consider bringing your congregation into the modern Abolitionist movement. On February 21, 2010, churches around the world will be praying for those held captive in honor of the first ever Freedom Sunday.
Join in spirit, action and solidarity by participating in Freedom Sunday. Preach on modern-day slavery, sing redemptive songs, take action in your own backyard, and stand with the international movement to free the captives. With just a click, you can register your congregation and receive the downloads and resources you need to involve your faith community.

Faculty Communities
One of the Core Values of InterVarsity Faculty Ministry is the integration of faith and learning. Consider the impact of this movement on your campus and the opportunity to shine Christ’s light on this dark topic. Is there a local faculty member in your community who could lead your group to make a difference? Perhaps you are a Professor of Sociology, Criminal Justice, or Economics? Your concern for human trafficking can be a tool to share your faith in the classroom as well as to offer yourself as a speaker to small groups.
Please consider these resources we offer from InterVarsity Faculty Ministry:
Thank you for taking the time to make a difference not only in the lives of faculty and students on campus, but in the world.
