Indiana Wesleyan University is hiring for a two-year postdoctoral teach fellowship position in the Honors College. Former InterVarsity staff member, Sara Scheunemann works at IWU and said: “I think our environment is one that someone with a GFM background would thrive in. We are seeking someone with a degree in the humanities who has completed their Ph.D. or is very close to completing it.” More information on the position is listed here. Applications for the position are due Monday, February 27, 2012. The 2012-2014 fellowships will be awarded in May 2012.
Wheaton College is hiring for a new position as Director of Environmental Studies. This full-time tenure track position at the assistant or associate level will begin in August 2012. They are looking for a candidate with a background in geology, earth science or related fields who has completed their Ph.D., or is very close to completing it. Union University anticipates a tenure track opening in the political science department for the 2012-2013 school year. Candidates must be qualified in the areas of comparative politics and international relations. Teaching load is typically four courses per semester.
