Get Graduate and Undergraduate Credit for Going to Urbana 09
Trinity Evangelical Divinity School is offering a course in Global Christianity that is structured as a wrap-around course in conjunction with the Urbana 09 conference. You must first register for Urbana 09 at www.urbana09.org and then register for the course through Trinity. This is a 3 credit course.
Seminars related to workplace and the academy
Newly posted seminars related to a variety of subjects can be found here. Of particular interest to our Emerging Scholars, I wanted to specifically highlight the seminars focused on the Workplace & Academy. Emerging Scholars Network Associate Director, Micheal Hickerson will present “Serving Christ as a Professor: 10 Things You Need to Know.” Faculty Ministry National Director, Stan Wallace, will lead two of the seminars including “Ethics: Learning How to Make Hard Decisions” and “Calling: Theology of Work and Vocation.”
ESN and Faculty Receptions
One of the great things about any conference is meeting old and new friends. The Emerging Scholars Network and InterVarsity Faculty Ministry will be hosting two receptions at Urbana, one for ESN members and another for faculty. Here are dates, times, and locations.

4:00 – 5:30pm
Both receptions will be held at the Hilton St. Louis Downtown, 400 Olive Street, in Suite 827. We hope you can join us!
Also, we invite you to come by the ESN exhibit booth at Urbana for details. Stop by the booth any time for a free ESN gift (while supplies last). We’ll be located in Booth 715, in the large block of InterVarsity booths at the center of the Exhibit Hall.
