ESN Mentoring Program Update

Ever since the Emerging Scholars Network launched, we’ve been hearing from members all around the world about how much they would benefit from connecting with potential mentors locally or in their academic field. We know that God powerfully uses such relationships to shape us spiritually and professionally, to encourage us, and to challenge us.

Now, with the launch of the ESN Mentoring Program, we hope we’ll bring you several big steps closer to these benefits.

Accepting Mentor Applications

Anyone at any career stage can apply to serve as a mentor. The requirements are not too daunting, so we hope that all ESN members might consider applying to be a mentor. This opportunity is not just for senior faculty!

If you’d like to apply to be a mentor — and we hope you will — then please download the ESN Mentoring Application Packet in order to complete and submit an application.

ESN Mentor Directory

We’re pleased to announce that a directory of approved ESN Mentors is now available here at EmergingScholars.org. Take a look at this list, and contact the mentor of your choice to get started. We pray that you and your mentor will be encouraged by your interactions! Please note that you must be an ESN member to access the directory.

Details

To learn much more, please read the ESN Mentoring Program Introduction, which provides an overview of the purpose, motives, and requirements behind the Program — as well as helpful tips on how to get started.
