Dates: Jul 12, 2007 - Jul 14, 2007
Hosted by: International Institute for Christian Studies and Christian Studies International of Canada
Featuring Dr. Norman Geisler, Dr. J. P. Moreland, Dr. Paul Vitz, and Randy Newman
From the conference website:
The Truth Under Deconstruction: Presenting Christ in a Relativistic World Conference will be a conversation about truth. We will discuss belief and unbelief; we will look at atheism, agnosticism, and other responses to belief in God. We will grapple with the impact of deconstructionism on our world as well as on our individual lives, and hopefully, we will learn how to better defend what is true.
The conference will:
- Deepen your commitment to truth and to knowing truth.
- Sharpen your understanding of belief and the various forms of unbelief.
- Challenge you to reexamine your own stereotypes of conversion, evangelism, and apologetics.
- Give you new insights into how to respond to deconstructionism in your field.
- Encourage you to think Christianly about your discipline and about all of life.
- Inspire you to impact your world for Christ.
- Expand your vision for the vast opportunities for Christian academics in universities around the world to declare truth.
