A Faculty Symposium
Thriving in Academe is a one-day regional conference designed to provide Christian faculty, post-doctoral researchers, administrators, and graduate students with an opportunity to fellowship with a community of Christian colleagues and to consider matters of profound importance to Christians in academia.
The featured speakers are Mary Poplin, professor of education at Claremont Graduate University, and Gary Fergren, professor of history at Oregon State University. They will relate their experiences and perspectives on matters relevant to your success and flourishing in an academic setting.
Breakout small-groups (some by discipline and some by institutions) will allow you time to meet with other conference participants. Sessions will encourage you to network with others.
Registration costs (including lunch):
$30 for graduate students
$10 for graduate-student and faculty spouses
$55 for faculty, administrators, and others
