Call for Papers: C. S. Lewis Summer Institute

The C. S. Lewis Foundation is sponsoring an academic conference of the C. S. Lewis Summer Institute on the theme, "Making All Things New: The Good, the True, and the Beautiful in the 21st Century." It will be held at Oxford University from July 24-30, 2005, and at Cambridge University from July 31-August 5, 2005.
Paper proposals are due by December 15, 2005.
From the Foundation's announcement:
[The Institute is] an interdisciplinary conference that serves as a focal point of the C. S. Lewis Foundation’s efforts to advance a renaissance of Christian scholarship and artistic expression among faculty. The Institute will feature two internationally recognized plenary speakers each morning followed by academic sessions of faculty papers, as well as seminars and workshops in the afternoons. We welcome engagement of the Institute theme from either a disciplinary or interdisciplinary perspective. Papers are also welcome which treat the life or writings C. S. Lewis or other Inklings or the subject of Christian faith and its relevance to one’s profession within higher education or the world of the arts.
Papers should not exceed thirty minutes in duration to be followed by a brief period of discussion in moderated sessions. Abstracts should include a paragraph (maximum 300 words) description of the proposed paper and how it relates to the theme as well as a brief (two-page) vita with complete contact information. Acknowledgement will be made by email.
