Short Term Mission Available in the Central African Republic
Dates: Jul 1, 2012 - Sep 30, 2012

Rev. Dr. Augustin Hibaile, Executive Director of CIDEL (International Center for the Development of Ethical Leadership), in collaboration with the University of Bangui, has invited InterVarsity to bring a team of graduate students and professors to the Central African Republic for a week-long exploratory trip to do the following:

Continue putting together courses on ethics and micro-enterprise (a task begun in 2008)
Help the university develop a course on gender, with the long-term view of launching a department of gender studies.

InterVarsity has sent three teams in the past (2007, 2008 and 2009), so we look forward to a 2012 team who could build on this existing relationship. Ideally, the trip will be for a week in either July or September. Dates will be determined by those interested. If you have expertise in the areas of gender studies, ethics, or micro-enterprise, or know people who do, please contact Sally Ivaska at InterVarsity.
