A Challenge to Scientists and Christians
The Wheaton College Center for Applied Christian Ethics (CACE) chose the theme Environment, Economics, and Equity as its focus for the 2006-2007 academic year.
In keeping with this theme, Wheaton College and CACE are very pleased to announce the visit of Dr. Sir John Houghton on campus the week of January 22, 2007. Sir John is the co-chair of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, having previously served as professor of atmospheric physics at Oxford. He is a distinguished scholar and evangelical Christian. Houghton has the unique perspective of an international scientific authority who articulates a strong biblical faith. He will contribute in several venues, including an evening plenary address, open to the general public.
