GFM New York/New Jersey Retreat
Dates: Mar 4, 2005 - Mar 6, 2005
From the conference brochure:
How does God measure his people's faithfulness to his call for justice? What is the difference between God's message to Israel in the Old Testament and the church in the New? Why does justice have anything to do with the work I do or the way I live? What does it mean to practice justice in my discipline?
Are you longing to build a solid Christian worldview and biblical theology for daily life? Are you puzzled in trying to connect the God of the Old Testament with the God of the New Testament?
If you are wrestling with any of these questions, join graduate students from around the New York/New Jersey area to explore the theme: "Called to Do Justice: Vocation, Calling, and the Challenge of Social Engagement." Byron Borger is the featured speaker.
