SALT 2009: Stoneworks Arts Leaders Training Conference
The Emerging Scholars Network is pleased to bring to your attention, SALT 2009, a conference hosted by InterVarsity Christian Fellowship and StoneWorks at the beautiful campus of Belhaven College in Jackson, Mississippi, June 8-12. Your opportunity to join fellow Christians who have a passion for the arts and an interest in pursuing an arts education, leadership roles, and the integration of faith in a calling to the arts is just a click away. Participants will explore how God is using artists and the arts and receive a vision for the impact each artist and community can make. Leaders and emerging leaders in the arts will meet in both large and small groups discussing ideas and identifying practical resources for being effective at using your gifts as a ministry to others, experiencing a supportive Christian community of people gifted in the arts. It will be a unique opportunity to come together in worship while time will also be reserved in the schedule to practice your craft, alone or with others, by various means, including Master classes at Belhaven.
