To effectively steward the life, power, and education we've been given requires making decisions well. How do we do this? Enter wisdom.

While the world offers wisdom that is largely self-centered, biblical wisdom invites a reorientation of the body, soul, mind, and strength toward God and his Kingdom. Scripture even dares to say that the only good choices are godly ones and defines wisdom as the ability to make godly choices in life.

Known as "wisdom literature," Ecclesiastes is a goldmine of insight for integrating faith, learning, and practice in the working world. Yet it is often dismissed as cynical or misquoted altogether.

Join us as we delve into the depth of Ecclesiastes to consider these questions:

How do we cultivate wisdom in our development as scholars and professionals, while avoiding the temptation to cynicism?

How do we think and act with wisdom when approaching the academic or professional situation to which God has called us?

How do we gain wisdom as we pursue scholarship?

In what spiritual practices should we engage in order to integrate our heart, soul, mind, and strength?
