2008 Wisconsin Symposium: Faith & Academic Commitments in a Post-Modern World
Date: Apr 19, 2008
Hosted by: UW-Madison Christian Faculty Steering Group and UW-Madison Grad Student Group Exec, in conjunction with IVCF Grad/Faculty Ministry staff of Wisconsin

Faith & Academic Commitments in a Post-Modern World

If you are a follower of Christ, how does your faith affect the way you choose your academic commitments and carry them out? Are they the proper commitments? Want some help figuring this out from peers in the academy? Join us!

This conference is for you!

In the day-to-day life and work of the academy there is seldom time to reflect on and discuss deeper issues, especially those relating to the intersection of our faith and the issues of the academy. This day provides an opportunity to hear stimulating lectures, raise questions and discuss as well as to participate in workshops/seminars that further stimulate and equip one to serve Christ in the academy.

Such a day, separated from ordinary work and home life can provide just the energy, insights and motivation to serve Christ more effectively in the place to which he has called you. Additionally, this one-day conference can provide you with new friends, and fellow-servants in this part of God's kingdom. Please plan on joining us!
