2008 Symposium on Creation Care held at OSU

From the symposium website:
Much has been made about “the inconvenient truth” of climate change and other environmental woes. Some have debated the “truth” part of this, questioning the reliability of the information. Others have struggled with the “inconvenient” part, wondering just how much our lives really need to change. And Christians sometimes wonder, ‘just how much of a priority should this be when I think of God’s purposes for my life in the world?’
The aim of this Saturday symposium is to bring faith, science, and practice together to explore these questions. We will examine what Christian faith teaches about creation care and what scientific research tells us about what is happening to our planet and where we can get reliable information. And we will hear how one Christian community is responding. There will be time to consider our own response and sharpen our knowledge and observation skills as we enjoy a guided tour with expert scientists of the nearby Olentangy Wetlands.
