2008 Colorado Symposium: Thriving in Academe
Date: Mar 1, 2008
Hosted by: InterVarsity's Faculty Ministry
A Christian Academic Symposium for Faculty, Administrators, and Graduate Students
Thriving in Academe is a one-day regional conference for the Western United States designed to provide Christian faculty, post-doctoral researchers, administrators, and graduate students with an opportunity to fellowship with Christian colleagues and to consider matters of profound importance to Christians in academia.
The featured speakers will share their experiences
and perspectives on matters relevant to success and flourishing in the academic setting, especially as related to thriving in witnessing communities of faculty.
Breakout small groups (some by discipline and some
according to topics of interest) will allow time to meet with other
conference participants. Sessions will encourage networking, the deepening of friendships with academic colleagues, and grappling with the issues raised by the speakers.
