Timothy George
Timothy George is the dean of Beeson Divinity School of Samford University, Birmingham, Alabama, and an executive editor of Christianity Today. He was educated at the University of Tennesee at Chattanooga and at Harvard University, where he earned his Th.D. in 1979. His ministerial service has been extensive and his publications wide — including Theology of the Reformers, Theologians of the Baptist Tradition (ed.), and a title forthcoming this summer, Is the Father of Jesus the God of Muhammad? He also serves as a consultant for the Harvard Theological Review, as a member of the WCC Faith and Order Commission, as a participant in Evangelicals and Catholics Together discussions, and as a member of numerous boards, including those of Wheaton College, Prison Fellowship Ministries, the Center for Catholic and Evangelical Theology, and Books & Culture.

Robbie Castleman
Robbie Castleman's undergraduate studies were in critical-care nursing and biblical studies, and she has an M.A. in Religion from Florida State University and is pursuing a D.Min. at the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary. After nearly twenty years' work in critical-care nursing, she joined Graduate & Faculty Ministries in 1988. Now part-time with InterVarsity, she is an assistant professor in the Division of Biblical Studies at John Brown University, Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and also serves as the national coordinator of the Religious and Theological Students' Fellowship (RTSF).
Her publications and professional activities are many, from the founding of the Dead Theologians Society in 1990, to her work as a consulting editor and columnist for the journal Themelios, to numerous Bible-study guides and books, including Parenting in the Pew, Faith on the Edge, and True Love in a World of False Hope. She is the mother of two grown sons, and her husband, Breck Castleman, serves as a Presbyterian (USA) pastor. |
