Track overview: Skeptic Tank
a Chapter FOCUS Week training course
| Many people today have growing skepticism about the everyday relevance of Christian faith and the answers it offers to life's questions. Guided by your friends' questions or your own, we'll wrestle with some of today's most controversial issues. We will look for authentically Christian answers that offer genuine hope and gracious truth to a hurting world - answers that give us the humble courage to become more faithful, holistic followers of Jesus.
Taking into account these challenges and questions, we'll wrestle with some of today's most controversial issues, including the exclusivity of the Christian gospel, the trustworthiness of the Bible, and the relevance of Christian teaching for human sexuality. Using these issues as a springboard, we will look for authentically Christian answers that offer genuine hope and gracious truth to a hurting world - answers that give us the humble courage to become more faithful, holistic followers of Jesus. |
