Priority Ministries

Student and Staff Training

The primary purpose of Cedar Campus is to build Christ-like character and develop leadership skills in students and staff so they may effectively serve as Christ's disciples on campus and in their future vocations at home or abroad. (2 Timothy 2:2 2 Timothy 3:16-17)

Families and Alumni

To serve families and single adults, we provide several programs and an environment to nurture families and individuals in their walk with God. (Ephesians 4:12-16 Genesis 2:23-24 Deuteronomy 6:4-9)

Church Retreats

As a ministry arm of the Church, we offer a setting conducive for times of retreat and training that will strengthen adults, young people, and church leaders. (Ephesians 4:12-16)

Local Community

We seek to participate in and support our local schools, businesses, organizations, churches, and youth clubs, by promoting the common good in our community and by providing a welcoming place to special events and educational opportunities. (Titus 3:1-2 Hebrews 13:2 Matthew 25:35

Core Values

Spiritual Environment

Following the invitation of the Spirit, we desire to make Cedar Campus a place where the Scripture is taught and modeled, where the peace of Christ is a reality, where God's people pray and worship him with sincerity and grateful hearts, to the glory of God.(Colossians 3:15-17 Ephesians 5:18-21 1 Timothy 4:13)

Natural Environment

Following God's creation design, we seek to be good stewards of God's beauty and handiwork at Cedar Campus, as a place of safety, solitude, and quiet, where God may reveal himself and nourish the souls of those who come here (Genesis 2:15 Psalm 24:1 Psalm 19:1)

Community

Following the New Testament model, we strive to foster a community of fellowship that is genuine and redemptive, where we worship together, learn together, work together, and play together so that we might build up one another in love and unity(Philippians 2:1-4 Romans 12:3-8)

Service

Following the example of Christ, we serve one another, so that each one is able to meet God. We offer our best to provide a high standard of service to all our guests, with love, joy, and humility (Matthew 20:25-28 Matthew 25:37-40 Romans 12:13 1 Peter 4:8-10 Colossians 3:23 John 13:13-15)

As a ministry of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA, our staff also affirm the Fellowship's purpose, core commitments and doctrinal basis in addition to the above mission statement.
