How much - and help for getting to Chapter FOCUS Week

The price of Chapter FOCUS Week is $348 - except for the Crew track, which is subsidized because of the work done for Cedar Campus in the track. The price for the Crew track is $50.
All of your meals, housing and course materials are covered by these fees, but you may want to bring along extra money for incidental costs.
A registration fee of $25 must be sent in with your registration; this counts towards your total fee. The remaining balance (and/or any signed scholarship or loan forms you have) is due when you arrive.
Please note that $25 must be sent in with your registration to hold your place in the training week, even if you are getting a full-ride scholarship. It is non-refundable and will be applied to your final cost. Feel free to enclose your total amount, if you prefer. It will speed up your onsite check-in and delight our office staff!
If your registration is postmarked after the deadline for that Chapter FOCUS Week, you will be charged a late fee of $25 beyond the cost of the event. The deadline is the Friday two weeks before the event begins.
If you choose to attend two weeks of training, you may deduct $20 for the second week.
We begin with supper on the first day and end with breakfast on the last day. If you arrive after 6:30 p.m., supper is your own responsibility. Students are expected to attend the entire training time. No fee adjustments can be made for shortened stays.

Financial aid
Financial aid to come to Chapter FOCUS Week may be available from your church, your parents' church, your InterVarsity chapter or even your student government. Some chapters also hold fundraising events (car washes, bake sales, etc.). For those who, even with help, are still not able to pay the full price when they arrive at Cedar Campus, there are three ways you may be able to get help from InterVarsity.
- Scholarship price - Students who honestly cannot afford to pay the $348 price may take a $50 scholarship (bringing the price down to $298). There are boxes on the registration form to indicate if you need the scholarship price. Scholarships are available because of gifts from alumni and staff fund-raising efforts.
- Chapter scholarship - If your chapter or InterVarsity area has money in its scholarship fund, you may be able to get a scholarship. (Ask your staff worker.) The form, which is not valid unless it is signed by your staff worker and your Area Director (usually your staff worker's supervisor), can be printed from online.
Your staff or Area Director can also write a check from their account instead of using the scholarship form, if they prefer.
- Deferred payment - If you have investigated all of the above, and you still can't raise enough to cover your fees, your staff worker may be willing to sign for a loan for you for some of your fees. Please note, though, that any money you fail to pay will be taken out of the staff worker's personally designated funds, and he or she may not wish to or be able to afford to cover a loan for you. The form, which is not valid unless it is signed by your staff worker, can be printed from online.
