Cedar Campus is sponsoring our fourth fundraising Bike-a-thon on Saturday, September 19. Every other Bike-a-thon has been at Cedar Campus but this year we are taking the Bike-a-thon on the road! Come join some of the Cedar Campus staff in Grand Rapids, MI!
This will be a fun day of biking, plus a family day in the park. To make it even more family friendly we now have three options for the ride. Choose either a 25, 50, or a 100 mile ride. Most will be going at a family friendly pace as we will ride on the White Pine Trail (paved surface). All rides will begin near Comstock Park, ride north and return to Comstock Park (the 100 milers will have to do their route twice). Ride begins at 9am for 100 milers, 10am for 50 milers and 11am for 25 milers.
This is an opportunity to help Cedar Campus raise funds for two leadership training opportunities. One is a ministry to International students and the other is our Internship program. See the brochure for more information.
After the ride we’ll meet in the park for a barbeque lunch mid afternoon. Cedar Campus will provide burgers and hot dogs. Please bring your favorite pop and something to share. All riders and their families are welcome. Come for a day of fun and fellowship. Be sure to bring pictures and stories of your times at Cedar Campus over the years. We’ll have a time of worship and prayer after the barbeque.
There are many ways to be a part of the Bike-a-thon, but the two most significant ways are to either be a rider and gather pledges or to pledge a rider yourself.
