Quiet woods, shorelines washed by gentle waves, sunsets over Prentiss Bay...a place to meet God.

Family Camps at Cedar Campus build on a tradition of giving moms a real vacation, bringing dads closer to their families, and giving kids the fun they hope for and the spiritual growth they need.

Expert kitchen staff prepare the food; youth workers care for, instruct and watch over the children; and recreation crew help make your time in the water or woods a happy and healthy experience. There's time together to enjoy these things, as well as time alone and time with your spouse.

The spiritual needs of adults are met through thematic small group Bible studies, discussion sessions and Bible exposition. For youth, the balance includes Bible instruction, skill-developing recreational programs and an emphasis on fun...all carefully planned and well-supervised whenever adult sessions are in progress.

Speaker: Mack Stiles is the author of Speaking of Jesus (IVPress, 1995), Seventeen Things My Kids Taught Me About God (IVPress, 1998), and has co-authored along with his wife Mack and Leeann's Guide to Short Term Missions (IVPress, 2000). Mack is a gifted communicator and teacher and captures the attention of his audiences with riveting stories. Mack and Leeann have three boys.

The dates for Family Camp II are Saturday, July 4 to Friday, July 10.

Open registration for this family camp will begin September 1, 2008. Those who attend this year and register for next year with a deposit of $250 before September 1st have priority for the same week and same housing. After September 1st, registration is open for any week and any available housing.

The deposit is applied against the balance due. The remaining balance is due upon arrival at Cedar Campus in 2009. The deposit is refundable or transferable up to three months prior to the start of the program.

Lodge rooms, cabins and camping spaces are still available for Family Camp II.
